General Questions

Q: HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO BE THERE?

Our wedding coverage packages are set at 10 hours. We feel that is enough to capture the important events of your day. However, we are happy to work out additional coverage for your day if needed at a rate of $400 per hour.

Q: WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO TRAVEL FOR OUR WEDDING IN ____?

Absolutely. We are happy to travel anywhere in the world for your wedding. Send us a message and let us know where and we would be happy to figure out a quote that includes travel and accommodation.

Q: CAN WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DAY?

We aren’t able to reserve days without a deposit. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. However we will always let you know if and when we get another inquiry for the same day if you haven't yet secured a deposit. Once the deposit is made, the date is all yours!

Q: HOW DO WE PAY YOU?

We find it easiest to work with with e-transfers or cheques. Our payment structure is: 30% due upon booking your wedding, 40% due 7 days prior to the event, and the remaining 30% due upon delivery of the final product.

Q: DO YOU EVER BOOK MORE THAN ONE WEDDING PER DAY.

We want to be able to focus all of our attention on your wedding. For this reason we never book multiple weddings on the same date. When you book Driftwood, you get Driftwood. We don't subcontract anyone to take our place.

Q: HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PRODUCT?

We do an initial online delivery, however your final product will be delivered to you on a custom USB drive, straight to your door.

Film Questions

Q: How long are your wedding films?

We have a few different film options; trailers, highlights, short films, and feature films. Each has its own length and purpose. Send us an email to find out more about which film is right for you.

Q: Is that all we get?

Of course not! We always include full versions of all the major events. The ceremony, grand entrance, speeches, and first dance. All shot from multiple angles and edited into something you'll actually enjoy watching.

Q: Do we get to see all of the footage you captured?

Not by default. While all the main events are covered and delivered in their entirety, we shoot everything else with your film in mind. We are shooting moments here and sequences there that tell the story of your wedding.

*We do offer a RAW footage upgrade if you decide you really want it.

Q: What about music?

For both creative and legal reasons, we do all of the music selections for our wedding films. There are tons of resources available now for sourcing high quality music from artists large and small.

Q: What if I hate country music?

We choose music based on the overall feel of the wedding and the personality of our couples. If your wedding didn't feel like a country wedding, than you won't have any country music. Our goal is not just to portray what the wedding looked like, but to create a film the instills the very same emotions you felt on that day.

Q: When can we expect to see the film?

Our turn around time is in the 4-6 month period from your wedding. We know you may be itching to watch your wedding film as soon as you get home from the honey moon but trust us, its worth the wait. We put a lot of time and care into each film so that they are unique and captivating.
